Collections – Matchbooks
by cgregori on March 11, 2012
Back in July, my best pal Josh got married in the Chicago Urban Art Society building. The space was also hosting the Post Family, Collections show that month and with the help of Josh I was able to get the matchbook collection from the show. The collection is a jar is filled with a great variety of matchbooks that are from all over the midwest and you can see them all here.
Documenting the collection was inspired after hearing Draplin talk at the DAM the other night. Next on the list is documenting my collection of ashtrays from different states.
