The late Nick DeWolf put his camera to use everywhere he went, and now his son-in-law is slowly publishing his collection of over 50,000 photos on Flickr.   Dig it.

Killustrators

by cgregori on January 6, 2012

Last month I was invited to be part of the latest Society of Killustrators challenge to draw your idea of the best Christmas Pageant ever.  My ideal pageant would be taking a trip to the arctic with Sarah to watch some walrus perform for us and afterwards we’d all go get some beers together.

Austin Insider and MPG

by cgregori on December 4, 2011

The last Austin Insider and Austin Meeting Planner guides I designed have been finished up and ended up printing really nice.  You can get your hands on a print copy of the Austin Insider Arts Issue for free here and the IPad edition can be downloaded here.  Be sure to check it out before your next trip to the city… its full of great info and maps.  And if you’re the meeting planner type, you should order a copy of the new guide that has a bunch of tips from locals to help with all the planning.

Last day of Movember

by cgregori on November 29, 2011

It’s the last day of Movember tomorrow and the mustache came in a little saltier than last time, but it maintained the creep factor nicely.  I’m thinking I’ll just let it all go until it hits the epic, Murray status.  Hopefully Sarah doesn’t drug me and cut it off before that happens.

Team Stash-o-matic has been raising money and growing mustaches all month for cancer research, so if you’re in the giving mood I encourage you to donate to us here.

Walking Dead

by cgregori on November 21, 2011

Sarah and I gave the Walking Dead a chance tonight and at the end we decided that an hour of zombies getting shot in the face was about all we needed for the year.  The one good thing about the show was that it inspired me to draw a couple .post due. cards while it was on, so  let me know if you want to trade for one of them!

Bill Amundson

by cgregori on November 5, 2011

Sarah and I checked out a few galleries last night but none were better than the Plus + Gallery that was showing the amazing work of Bill Amundson.  He has such detailed pencil and colored pencil work in his pieces that its best to see it in person to get the full effect.  My favorite was the one above titled 1975.  You have until December 3rd to check it out if you’re in Denver.
