The music video for the track When I am King by Tim Knol is absolutely fantastic. Its stop motion and was done entirely using pyrogprahy (soldering images onto plywood) and directed by Sverre Fredriksen. You can see the process of making it as well.

I came across this promo piece by GGRP Sound and would love to get one in the mail. The cardboard packaging idea and execution are really fantastic and you just can’t go wrong with the sound of vinyl… even if its coming from vibrations amplified in cardboard.

Today marks a year of not smoking cigarettes after almost 15 years smoking them. It feels great to give up that habit and focus more of my attention and money on scratch off lotto tickets. I’ll hit it big soon….I can feel it.

Alphabeasties is a really great alphabet book featuring animals that are crafted out of different type faces. It was done by Sharon Werner and Sarah Forss of the design studio Werner Design Werks. If you’re in the market for alphabet blocks, you can always grab some over here.

A beautiful set of photos taken by Tom Palumbo in Paris from 1962. Images from Paris cafés and nightlife in 1962, the same week Yves St. Laurent’s runway show vaulted Dior to new heights. Many scenes around Les Halles (which no longer exists as it did then).
